INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements based on proprietary requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with DRAEGER MEDICAL, INC. 3135 Quarry Road, Teleford, PA 18969-1051 for the Apollo Anesthesia Machine required for the Orlando Lake Nona Medical Center. Award of this contract will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This Notice of Intent (NOI) is not a request for competitive proposals; however any responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by 12pm EST November 14, 2014, via email to [email protected] . Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government to not compete this contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
