NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, on behalf of the Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price contract to Bio-Medical Devices International to provide Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) Carts, manufactured by Max Air. Carts are needed in the Emergency Cache that need to be stored in a place that can be moved quickly in the event of an emergency. Carts are required for storage, constant reliable charging, and swift deployment of the MaxAir PAPRs already owned by the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Functions of the carts shall be in accordance with manufacturer s recommendations for MaxAir PAPRs. This is a brand-name only requirement for MaxAir Systems PAPR Cart #2780-06. The NAICS Code, 33599 - All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment & Component ; size standard 500 Employees are to be used. This notice is NOT a request for quotes, or a solicitation of offers, or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which may be considered by the agency. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
