The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Connecticut Health Care System (VACHCS) intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Jali Medical Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. RATIONALE FOR SOLE-SOURCE PURCHASE: No comparable system is currently available as a package assembling comparable capabilities from individual components would be costly to validate.
