The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking small business manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers, of functionally equivalent equipment to all the following: L300 Go Clinician's Kit Background: James J. Peters VA Medical Center is currently seeking to procure a system for Electrical stimulation of Lower Limb Musculature for functional grasp and ambulation training provided to medical center patients by Rehabilitation Therapists. Scope of Work: The contractor shall supply the government (specifically the James J. Peters VAMC) with a L300 Go Clinician s Kit for the Rehabilitation Therapy Clinical program. The L300 Foot Drop System shall provide ankle dorsiflexion in individuals who have foot drop following an upper motor neuron injury or disease. During the swing phase of gait, the L300 electrically stimulates muscles in the affected leg to provide dorsiflexion of the foot; thus, it may improve the individual s gait. The L300 may also facilitate muscle re-education, prevent or retard disuse atrophy, maintain or increase joint range of motion, and increase local blood flow.
