This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Arthrex, Inc. The requirement is for the purchase of Shoulder and Knee orthopedic supply items. The supply items will be used at McDonald Army Health Center, Fort Eustis, Virginia.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Only the Arthrex brand is acceptable. No compatibles or substitutes will be accepted. Persons may identify their capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Parties interested shall provide detailed information of their capabilities and certification to clearly meet requirements as stated below:
