DESCRIPTION: The NF/SG Veterans Healthcare System, Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608 intends to negotiate with Metro Medical Equipment $ Supply Inc, on a sole source basis pursuant to VAAR 873 & 38 USC 8153 and FAR 6.302-1 for the following medical equipment. 266002-1125-319-1 - VISUCAM NM/FA W/ STEREO LICENSE, PRINTER & TABLE This Retinal Camera System will allow for precise documentation, evaluation, and treatment/monitoring of veterans retinal eye disease including conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma which are very prominent in the veteran population. This system also has the capability for fluorescein angiography which allows for on-site evaluation of exudative macular degeneration, proliferative diabetic retinopathy and retinal vascular occlusions. This particular system is dicom compliant and will directly interface with VISTA imaging. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 423450. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
