Gore Medical specializes in vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical meshes and other therapeutic solutions to complex medical issues. These items are required on an as needed basis during certain surgeries to support the broader supplies required. Vascular grafts are implanted in veins and arteries. Thus, they need to be acquired in different sizes. These Gore supplies are the preferred source for surgeries involving hemodialysis patients at the VA NJ. This is an urgent procurement. Market research was conducted and determined that sole sourcing this requirement is in the best interest of the Government.
