This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PC-08-Q-0109 and is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-17. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 424210 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This requirement is set-aside for small business vendors and only qualified offerors may submit quotations. The Peace Corps requires the following items, Exact Match Only, to the following: CLIN 001, GARDASIL VACCINE, 0.5ml Single Dose Vial, NDC 00006-4045-00, Quantity = 1,500 each. The Peace Corps reserves the right to award at a quantity less than 1,500 at the unit price proposed by vendors. Delivery shall be made within 2 weeks or less after receipt of order. FOB Destination shall be 1111 20th Street NW, Washington, DC 20526. Solicitation provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items are hereby incorporated by reference. The Government will evaluate quotes in response to the synopsis/solicitation on the basis of price, delivery schedule, and past performance (on similar or directly related contracts). The Government reserves the right to obtain past performance from any source. Technical and past performance, when combined, are significantly less important than cost or price. A fixed price award will be made based upon the best value to the Government. The Government reserves the right to issue multiple awards for varying quantities if it results in the best value to the Government. The selected Offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference. The following FAR clauses in paragraph (b) or FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, will apply: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-34.
