The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center (LAJVAMC) is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify businesses that manufacture, sell or distribute Flexible Bronchoscopic Cryosurgery Systems designed and used to perform lung biopsies, to relieve airway obstructions and to remove foreign bodies or mucous plugs in the bronchial airways. A Bronchoscopic Cryosurgery System is generally comprised of a flexible bronchoscope, a cryosurgery device, a cooling agent (e.g., nitrous oxide, liquid nitrogen), and a cryoprobe. LAJVAMC is seeking the following types of information: 1. The types, models, brands, etc. of Flexible Bronchoscopic Cryosurgery Systems currently available and used in the commercial marketplace, including the system's: a. Theory of operation and its capabilities and constraints; b. Instrument options; c. Reusable equipment and sterilization options & recommendations; d. FDA approval or clearance status; e. Other information that describes the system's functionality, capability, characteristics, accessories, options, etc. 2. Vendor name, socio-economic status, if applicable (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 3. Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) availability, if applicable. Responses to the information requested above may be submitted via email to [email protected].
