The Amarillo VA Healthcare System intends to award a sole source purchase order to a firm dba Life Systems, Inc for an Electrosurgical Argon Plasma Coagulation System. The system must have the capability of doing Argon Plasma Coagulation for patients with radiation proctitis. The system must have a built in irrigation pump. The system must have technology to hold voltage constant which permits the power to self-adjust based on tissue resistance. The system must have enhanced argon modes for maximum physician control while maintaining a consistent tissue effect that is ideal for thin walled areas; thereby, reducing the potential of perforation.
