PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA797P-13-R-0042 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) for an unrestrictive procurement for Dipeptidyl-Peptidase 4 (DPP-4), Inhibitor, Tablets (On Demand Use). The estimated annual usage is for 3,131,482 tablets for all strengths of the DPP-4 Inhibitor. The estimated annual usage listed above is for VA, Indian Health Service (IHS), Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and Federal Health Care Center (FHCC). The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor(s). Offeror(s) must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique 11-digit NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years.
