The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, Texas 78229 intends to enter into a sole source consignment agreement with Cordis for the following: assortment of various sizes and types of vascular stents (smart, precise, palmaz, genesis, endo, peripheral), coronary balloons (aviator, endo sleek, savvy, endo savy slalom, opta pro powerflex extreme, pta maxi, empira), catheters (frontrunner, micro guide, DGW, endo fx core jtip ptfe , 5f guiding catheters, cardio 6f/070, gc 8f, brt tip, guiding) and angiogaurd filters. The items will be utilized by the OR for vascular procedures. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All information shall be furnished at a no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government.
