In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a Single Source, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to enter into a firm-fixed price consignment agreement with option years on a sole source basis with Cook Medical, 1025 Acuff Road, P.O. Box 4195, Bloomington, IN 47402-4195 for furnishing various sized Zilver PTX Drug-Eluting Peripheral Stents. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for competitive quotes or offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
