Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Logistics Office, VISN 7, Augusta, Georgia, intends to negotiate a sole source consignment agreement contract under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, with Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, Inc., for various sizes of Cordis Cypher Sirolimus eluting coronary stents for VA Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. The applicable NAICS code for this solicitation is 339113 with a size standard of 500 employees. The intended contract will be for the base and two option years. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature and documentation, detailing their experience in providing this product, to the Contracting Officer or by fax to 478-274-5578. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
