The Department of Veterans Affairs, West Palm Beach Medical Center intends to procure on a sole source basis, with Accu-Chart Plus Healthcare Inc., 1092 Gannon Ct, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 for Pharmacy packaging equipment.This procurement is for one (1) NEW Cadet Twin 2x2 Unit Dose Solid Packaging Machine with computer. Includes installation and training, variable package size, 120 doses per minute, computer printing, New Windows software, any Windows font, and material sensors. Also includes camera to take pictures of the drugs and biometric (fingerprint security), and one (1) Wet Cadet Unit Dose Liquid Packaging Machine without computer (2007 Series). This system includes on site installation and training, 32 doses per minute, computer printing, New Windows software, any Windows font, materials sensors, thermal transfer printing, 15cc and 30cc cup size. The proposed contract action is for supplies and the government intends to procure with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, FAR 15.308 and FAR 11.105. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties that believe they can meet these needs must supply information about their capabilities no later than 12:00PM EST, 8/15/2008. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. This award will be made using commercial acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR PART 12. No solicitation will be made available. The anticipated award date is August 15, 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
