Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, Gastroenterology Department, intends to sole source this contract to Barrx Medical, Inc., to provide a Halo 360 Generator, Halo 90 Generator, Halo 360 catheter starter kit, Halo 90 catheter starter kit for endoscopic procedures. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)-Only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS 339111 and size standard of 500 applies to this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Cincinnati Department of Veterans Affairs will proceed to sole source this requirement to the Barrx Medical, Inc. for the procurement of the Barrx Halo system and supportive equipment.
