The US Army Medical Command Southern Region, East has a requirement for as needed (call-in basis) BRCA1 and BRCA2 Analysis Testing for Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The suggested contractor is Myriad Genetic Laboratories, Inc., 320 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, Utah 84108-1214.

As needed testing for BRCA1 and BRCA2 for the period of performance: one year from date of award.

Quantity as needed (call-in basis) Comprehensive BRAC Analysis, full sequence analysis and common deletion/duplication panel of BRCA! And BRCA2.

Quantity as needed (call-in basis) BRACAnylysis Rearrangement Test (BART) Comprehensive analysis for deletions/duplications in BRCA1 and BRCA2.

Quantity as needed (call-in basis) Single Site BRCA1 for known familial variant analysis of BRCA1.

This IS NOT a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. However, companies that can provide an equal or like product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price, item compatibility with existing CareChek systems and delivery time within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives from Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia for consideration for FUTURE REQUIREMENTS. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
