U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Engineering and Support Center (USACE-HNC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Siemens Medical Solutions USA, INC. 51 Valley Stream Parkway, Malvern, PA 19355 to provide one (1) government owned Arcadis Avantic C-Arm X-ray Unit to include labor, parts, tools, preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair(s) which is located in the CCU for Integrated Pain Management Clinic at the Womack Army Medical Center. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available.

The Government is performing market research in order to determine sources available that possess the capability to execute the kind of work identified above prior to issuing a request for quote. This brand name item is required specifically for standardization and due to the user(s) familiarity, training, experience and confidence with the Arcadis Avantic C-Arm X-ray Unit. Any firm that believes it can provide a product that meets the government's need for standardization with the Arcadis unit above is invited to submit a written capability statement showing equivalence with the unit, within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
