The Pentacam AXL is an instrument that is used to measure measures anterior segment tomography of the eye. It can also measure the anterior and posterior corneal surface as well as axial length.
Salient Characteristics:
Anterior Segment Tomography
Must measure both anterior and posterior corneal elevation maps
Must be able to measure axial length with optical biometry
Must be able a Scheimpflug Camera
Must provide Axial and Tangential Topography Maps
Must provide Zernike corneal wavefront analysis
Must measure anterior change angle, depth and volume
Must provide 3D lens densitometry and nucleus staging
Must measure full surface pachymetry
Must measure keratoconus detection and staging
Must have IOL calculator
Must provide corneal optical densitometry
Must be able to superimpose 2 Scheimpflug images
Must have Belin/ Ambrosio Enhanced ectasia display software
This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements and is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veterans Owned Small Business (VOSB) registered in VetBiz. Vendor may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 7 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis.
Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Only authorized representatives of the manufacturer will be considered. Equipment must be new, no used or refurbished equipment accepted. Please provide a proof of authorized dealer or reseller letter from manufacturer.
