The purpose of this Modification is to extend the due date from 03/28/2013 to 04/05/2013.


This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This combined synopsis / solicitation is a Request for Quotation and is 100% set-aside for small business. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66.

This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement in accordance with FAR 52.211-6.

The evaluation process to be used is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable in accordance with FAR 15.101-2.

This is an Open Market requirement. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed-price Purchase Order as result of this solicitation. If an offeror submits a quotation based upon an FSS or GWAC contract, the Government will accept the quoted price. However, the terms and conditions stated herein take precedence in any resultant Purchase Order, not the terms and conditions of the offeror's FSS or GWAC Contract.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112, with a small business size standard of 500.

The North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office, North is seeking to purchase an Anspach eMax 2 Plus High Performance Handpiece with Control Panel and additional components and accessories described in this combined synopsis / solicitation. All interested companies are asked to provide a quotation/offer for the items listed herein.
