The National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, intends to award a sole source procurement to AGA Medical Corporation for TEN (10) Amplatzer Septal Occluders (various sizes) and SIX (6) Amplatzer Sizing Balloons (various sizes) and TEN (10) Amplatzer Sizing Plates. The requirement is for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. "See Note 22"
