The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Acoustic Marketing Research, located in Longmont, CO 80503-4609, for a Sonora Medical Systems Acoustic Measurement Tank with Hydrophone and Accessories, Model APIS-041; This equipment will be used for mapping intensity fields and performing safety analyses in connection with evaluation of diagnostic imaging and high intensity focused ultrasound surgery devices. This award will be made 5 days after the date of this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423450 and the Business Size Standard is 100 Million dollars in assets. The FDA office building is located at 10903 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20993. These justification and approval requirements are in accordance with FAR subparts 6.302-1. Acceptance shall be performed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at the address listed above. Vendor may identity in writing their interest and capability in response to this requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received no later than the closing date of this announcement will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
