The Department of Veterans Affairs, Albuquerque VA, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with First Nation Group DBA Jordan Reses Supply Company, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (NAICS 34516) to provide Actiwatch Spectrum Plus equipment, in accordance with FAAR 6.302-5(b)(6) and VAAR 819.70. This equipment will be used to support VA Cooperative Studies Program # 2016 which will compare the efficacy of trazodone hydrochloride, eszopiclone, and gabapentin to placebo, as adjunctive therapies in the treatment of insomnia symptoms among veterans with military related PTSD. First Nation Group DBA Jordan Reses Supply Co is the exclusive supplier to the VA for this equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, April 19, 2019 at 4:00 PM EST.
