Sole-Source BOS Announcement Classification: 65-Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies 261-0217-05 NAICS: 339112 Pursuant to the authority cited in FAR Part 6.302-1 (a) and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) the Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source purchase with US Surgical for the following medical equipment to be located in VA Palo Alto Heath Care System (VISN 21). This is a CRW Sterotatic System Upgrade. This system includes a Universal Compact Head Ring Assembly, Luminant Localizer, CT Localizer, Stereocalc Target Calculation Software System, and Notebook Computer. The Government has determined that this is the only responsible source and no other equipment will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation package will be made available. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
