The Regional Contracting Office at Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras will be looking for an Off-the Shelf Drop-Arm Barrier System. The contractor shall provide and install equipment for four each Stand-Alone Drop Arm Barrier System at Soto Cano Air Base (SCAB) Honduras. The equipment consists of four drop arm barriers (DAB) and four battery units to run the batteries. A Contractors cost not reimbursable site visit will be held around the first week of August 08, per FAR 52.236.27 Site Visit (Construction) (Feb 1995) Alternate I (Feb 1995). Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site vist where construction is to be performed. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
