The U.S Department of Homeland Security, National Acquisition Center, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial type contract with Monitron, Inc., in accordance with FAR Part 6.302. Multiple awards are not being sought. The following items to be procured provide replacement parts for the Monitron surveillance system currently installed:Monitron Transmitter Sensor (LTC-75-DS); Geophone Sysmic Sensor Probes; Transmitter proc w/encoder (11-100-ds); Mobile monitor (20-100-03 rd-115m); Handheld port monitor (20-100-05-rd-201p); Trans/repeater encoder (10-200-ds).
If your company has all the same or equal to parts that can be integrated into the current Monitron system, please contact the Contract Specialist (identified below). This is an urgent requirement to replace parts. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements of this Notice must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication. A firm submitting information should provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the capability of the firm/product to provide parts that can replace only the current parts identified above, we will not be replacing the system with another system-ONLY THE PARTS. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the Sole Source contract.
