This is a pre solicitation notice for a firm fixed price contract (with a base and four options) to provide the replacement of the lamps and ballasts in existing light fixtures in the following buildings under the care of the Architect of the Capitol. The base work will include the basement, sub basement, ground, first, second, third floors of the James Madison building of the Library of Congress, West House Underground Garage, East House Underground Garage, and Rayburn House Underground Garage of the House of Representatives. Option A includes the 4th floor, stairway lighting, for the 5th floor, 6th floor, 7th floor, and tunnel lighting in the James Madison building of the Library of Congress. Option B includes the cellar of the Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress. Option C includes the ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, rare books, upper deck floors, and the attic of the Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress. Option D includes all floors of the John Adams Building of the Library of Congress. This solicitation will be available in hard copy or electronically on or by June 24, 2006.
