The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to procure on a sole source basis from Teradyne, Inc the following: one (1) each Spectrum-9100 Depot Shop Replaceable Asset (SRA) configured Automatic Tester. The Spectrum-9100 provides a Test Progam Set (TPS) development environment to produce efficient and cost effective SRA TPSs which are digitally intensive utilizing the unique combination of the Spectrum Cross-Point Matrix in conjunction with multiple parallel digital tests at speeds up to 50MHz (100MHz interleaved). The 610-721-01 Spectrum-9100 SRA Configuration Tester 1 is required in order to maintain the configuration control of the Fleet Readiness Center's existing Spectrum-9100 Depot SRA TPS baseline, provide compatibility with existing TPSs and promote transportability of workload between test stations of newly developed SRA TPSs. The Government intends to procure this item proprietary to Teradyne, Inc under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for proposal; however, all parties interested in providing a response must do so not later than15 days after the date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to open this procurement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
