The Western Area Power Administration intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis rewind and test core distribution 750 KVA transformer to include replacement of bushings and other necessary parts to GE Energy Services as they are the only known vendor that can work on a 750 KVA transformer within the vicinity of Brush, CO. Western believes GE Energy Services is the only known source that can provide this item. Anticipated award is 28 Sep 07. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotes.
