Proposals are requested for the engineering, construction, commissioning, testing and place in service a new 33/11kV 2x16MVA substation at Yousafiya in the Kharkh Governorate, Baghdad. Scope of work oncludes Installation, Testing, Training, and provision of 5 Year Operational Spare parts. The materials and design documents shall be free issued to the contractor. The contractor shall review the material list and supply any materials not stated on the list that are required to complete the project and successfully place the sub-station into full operation. This shall include all furniture, safety equipments and any other tools and equipment deemed necessary for the normal day to day operation of the sub-station. The project is expected to be completed within 6 months of starting. This solicitation will be posted on www.rebuilding-iraq.net on or about 22 June 2006. The magnitude of this acquisition is expected to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000(USD). This acquisition is unrestricted.
