This is a market survey to locate sources to produce the BA-5390A Nonrechargeable Battery (6135-01-517-6060). The BA-5390A is described by MIL-PRF-49471B with Amendment 1, MIL-PRF-49471/3A with Amendment 1 and TRCECOM002 (C). The Government is surveying the market for information on capabilities to deliver qualified batteries in the shortest time possible. Estimated minimum monthly quantity would be around 2,400 PG (1PG = 4 batteries). Qualified batteries are those which have completed and passed all First Article Inspections IAW a first article test plan and also have a complete test report with the first article test data that clearly demonstrate compliance with the above documents. Detailed technical data for the manufacture of the battery is not available from the Army. Any interested sources are required to submit the following details; Company Brochures or similar documentation describing the battery being offered, Production capabilities and projected production lead times, Design and test milestones to meet First Article Inspections, and any past performance examples that can provide the Government insight as to the companys capabilities.
