The ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Consolidated Electronic Wire & Cable Corp, 11044 King Street, Franklin Park, Illinois 60153. This is for Belden YR15971 and YR7869 instrumentatio n cables, which have military specifications and have been characterized and matched to be compatible with the instrumentation used by the explosive experiment instrumentation personnel. One firm-fixed price award for commercial items will be made using pr ocedures in FAR Part 12. Any other responsible source able to provide the referenced cable is encouraged to respond to this announcement by 3:00 PM CST, January 25, 2008. This is not a request for quotations and therefore no solicitation is available.
