The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has a specific make and model American Power Conversion (APC) requirement for APC items (Solution #ISX015012-004) under FAR 6-302-1. The requirement is restricted to APC and APC distributors. Any alternative must meet the following as a minimum: Must be large enough to handle 3 SGI Origin 2000 computers, must provide software compatibility without jeopardizing current SGI warranties, must be mobile and must provide plug and play capability (i.e. completely self contained with all power panels and breakers and able to immediately start operations after the UPS and computer systems are rolled into a room and plugged into an established power drop with a connector). The required items and quantities are: Symmetra PX 20kW (40kW upgraded), N+1, 208 V (1 EACH), Symmetra PX 10kW Power Module, 208V (1 EACH), Symmetra PX Batt ery Module (10 EACH), Symmetra PX Extended Run Premium Battery Cabinet (1 EACH), 120V type PDU (1 EACH), Electrical System 120V (1 EACH), Type B PDU including 480V SDT & MBP (1 EACH), Rack Color (1 EACH), Kit PSX-PDU Black Exterior (1 EACH), Type & Amp of Distribution CKT BRKS (1 EACH), S/A Blank PNL 1P CRTBRK NAM PSX-PDU (84 EACH), Instrumentation Opts (1 EACH), APC InfraStruXure Manager (1 EACH), Opts and Accessories (1 EACH), 24 Port 10base-T hub (1 EACH), InfrastruXure Type B User Manual (1 EACH), Symmetra PX 10kW Power Module, 208V Service Offer (2 EACH), Start up Service 7X24 for Symmetra PX (1 EACH), Start Up Service 7X24 for PDU (1 EACH), Start Up Service 7X24 For One External Battery Shelf (1 EACH) and Training (1 EACH). Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination NLT 01 May 2003 to NSWCDD. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SP ECIFIED UNDER THIS CBD NOTICE. SUBMIT FAX, SIGNED AND DATED QUOTATIONS NLT 2:00 P.M. 10 April 2003 to 540-653-6810. IT IS THE OFFEROR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ASSURE THE QUOTE IS RECEIVED TIMELY, LEGIBLE AND COMPLETE. AS A MINIMUM, QUOTATIONS MUST INCLUDE: (1) Reference to Quotation Number N00178-03-Q-3019, (2) Quoter’s name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, (3) Clear identification of the offered brand product, model numbers and prices for each offered item, (4) Offered delivery date and (5) Descriptive literature for any/all non-APC offered products/items (NTE 5 pages), which clearly addresses each of the minimum specifications.
