The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, is soliciting offers for the purchase of 350HP Electric Induction Motors and related Technical Data. The Base Quantity will be for two (2) each with an Option Quantity for a potential up to six (6) each. This acquisition will be subject to First Article Testing. First Article Testing requirements may be waived if the acceptable offeror demonstrates completion of a first article test previously on the same size motor. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS classification for this acquisition is 423610 with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to the lowest technically acceptable offeror. The estimated delivery time for the motor is 40 weeks. The solicitation will be released on or about 11 February 2003 and will close 30 days thereafter.
