This upcoming solicitation will be for a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract for all services necessary to rehabilitate, test and commission 56 km of 400kV overhead line from Hartha to Khor Al Zubair in the Al Basrah province. Conductors, insulators, towers and accessories WILL BE PROVIDED by the Government. Of the 131 towers, 73 are damaged and some tower foundations will be required to be built and/or rehabilitated. The magnitude of this acquisition is expected to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 (USD). The work for this project is expected to be completed within 120 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed.
