The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis fifty (50) Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) multiplexing equipment terminals. The required terminals will be used to transport Real-Time Video, Time Space Position Data, Radar Track Data, GPS Tracking Data, Telemetry Data and Voice Communications. The SONET Communications Equipment system architecture must be of modular design and consist of a point to point modular chassis, mounting shelf, a shelf controller module, high-speed network interface wide area network modules and low-speed tributary interface modules. The fifty (50) SONET Terminals shall be equipped with a Shelf/Chassis/Cooling Fan with Shelf Controller: 1 Per Terminal, Network High Speed Interface: OC-12 Fully Redundant/Protected, OC-3 Drop Low Speed Interface: 1 OC-3 Fully Redundant/Protected, DS-3 Drop Low Speed Interface: 6 DS-3 Fully Redundant/Protected, and DS-1 D! rop Low Speed Interface: 28 DS-1 Fully Redundant/Protected.
