Supply:    The Air Force intends to issue a sole source award to AERO-CHEM Inc., for the following product:  60 - 50 gal Drums of DEKOTE paint remover.  This product is being tested to determine eligability for use on aircraft maintaned by Tinker AFB, OK.  The estimated award date is 17 Feb 2009.  The NAICS code for this requirement is 325199 with a business size standard of 1,000 employees.  THIS IS SOLE SOURCED TO AERO-CHEM INC. AS A PRODUCT IN TESTING.

 Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award.  Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov.  ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov.  

 The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.  Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, all responses will be considered within 5 days after the publication of this synopsis.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.  Authority is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1)
