WY AIRCIRCUIT BREAKER FOR SHOSHONE 52A

The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Region, intends to issue a Commercial Request for Quote (RFQ) for the following Brand Name supplies:

a. Standard Equipment
i. Reconditioned, ABB, Model MB-8 Electrically Operated Draw Out Circuit
Breaker with Stored Energy Operator
1. Reconditioned is defined as: Cleaned, Adjusted, Properly
Lubricated, Free of Defects, Fully Operational, with No
Observable Deficiencies. All contact surfaces should be polished
and all moving parts should move freely.

ii. Factory New, ABB, Control Device Assembly, 125 VDC for KLine/
MB/VHK Circuit Breaker, Part No. 708392-T07, Installed In Breaker
with standard wiring configuration.

iii. Factory New, ABB, Shunt Trip Assembly, 125 VDC for K-Line/MB/VHK
Circuit Breaker, Part No. 708393-T07, Installed In Breaker with standard
wiring configuration.

iv. Factory New, Utility Relay Company, AC-Pro II Kit, Part No. AC2M-MBE-8
Includes Mechanical Auto-Reset Actuator and 8000/400A CTs. Installed
in Breaker with standard wiring configuration.

b. Additional Requirements
i. The fully assembled reconditioned air circuit breaker with installed
Control Device Assembly, Shunt Trip Assembly, and AC Pro II Kit shall be
accompanied by a standardized test report demonstrating acceptable
results as outlined in ABB MB-8 Breaker Maintenance Instructions and
NETA MTS-2019 (Maintenance and Testing Standards).

7. CT Resistance Test.

iii. Visual and Functional Inspections to be Documented.
1. Frame.
2. Primary Disconnects.
3. Secondary Disconnects.
4. Arc Chutes.
5. Main Contacts.
6. Arcing Contacts.
7. Interlocks.
8. Contact Alignment.
9. Mechanism Operation.
10. Phase Barriers.
11. Contact Wipe.
12. Actuator Trip-Free.

The delivery location is: Bureau of Reclamation, located at 4 Reclamation Road,
Cody, WY 82414. FOB Destination of all supplies with an anticipated delivery date of September,30 2024.

It is anticipated the simplified acquisition set aside will be a Total Small Business with Tradeoff evaluation criteria.

It is intended the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted on or about 24 April 2024 via the SAM.gov website.

It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the SAM.gov web page for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments.

HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotations are not
