NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). The Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG) intends to award on a sole source basis, a firm-fixed price purchase order to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Symmetricom, Inc., 3750 Westwind Blvd, Santa Rosa, CA 95403-1053 to procure Qty 2 Symmetricom Xli SAASM Time and Frequency Systems (P/N: 602-HAE-GBGRAM-100, Options: 2RU Chassis, SAASM GPS Engine, QTY 3 Low Phase Noise 10MHz Outputs (P/N: 87-8009-10) NSN: 5895-ND-022-160J. This item has been identified as required to support sponsoring agency. Symmetricom, Inc. is the OEM and does not have any distributors or resellers of this item. The Configuration Control Board for the system has configuration control of all parts and assemblies associated with the system. The government intends to fulfill this requirement with only one source in accordance with FAR 13.501(a). The Governmentcontemplates to make an award by June 30, 2008. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within fifteen (15) days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign-owned. See Note 22.
