This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for spares for the Alternator used on the MEP 805A, 30KW/ 60 Hz Gen.Sets.This contractual effort is for a 5 yr FLTC with a low range quant ity of 25-50, a mid range quantity of 51-100 and a high range quantity of 100-252.Request that suppliers provide the Govt with their Production Lead time and a cost estimate for this item.The NSN is 6115013956536, Govt Part # 88-21007, Cage Code 30554. The re are current sources for this item. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units is available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing or repairing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: A MSEL-LC-CCS-G-GN, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the s upplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the previous suppliers listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed par ts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts, Alternate parts would have to pass ex tensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts meet the Militarys requirements, the cost of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
