DESC This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for GENERATOR, ALTERNATING CURRENT, NSN 6115-01-395-6536, P/N 88-21007. We are buying range quantities for 5 years varying from 25 to 160 for each year. The current source for this Generator is ENGINEERED ELECTRIC COMPANY, Cage 93742.
The Generator is used in the 30 KW TQG Generator Sets. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this generator is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN:
AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response should include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years parts will be available, ranges for price breaks, if applicable, part number and manufacturer
(CAGE) of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts.
The response should also include documentation such as a copy of the purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source, or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier listed above. The Government will also consider this unit from other manufacturers that have the same form, fit and function as the required part. This unit would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts meet the Military's requirements. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
