DESC This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for manufacture of components of the AN/ARN-147, AN/ARN-149 and AN/ARN-153 as follows:

VOR/ILS/MB Radio Receiving Set, AN/ARN-147(V), consisting of: R-2594 Receiver, P/N 622-6376-020, NSN 5826-01-444-0314; C-12550 Control, P/N 522-4408-013, NSN 5826-01-444-0317; and MT-2594 Mount, P/N 822-1479-001, NSN 5975-01-465-1268.

Low Frequency Automatic Direction Finder Set, AN/ARN-149(V), consisting of: R-2382 Receiver, P/N 622-6812-002, NSN 5826-01241-6869; C-12192 Control, P/N 622-6813-004, NSN 5826-01-341-5089; C-12491 Control, P/N 622-6813-005, NSN 5826-01-395-5325; AS-4480 Antenna, P/N 622-6820-003, NSN 5985-01-446-2574.

Advanced Digital TACAN, AN/ARN-153(V), consisting of: RT-1625 Receiver Transmitter, P/N 622-8149-001, NSN 5826-01-386-8807.

The current source and referenced part numbers for these components are Rockwell-Collins, Inc., Cage 13499. Detailed technical data for the manufacture, or acceptance of these units are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM-LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-A-AA, Building 1200E, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the unit from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
