Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (CCMI CHD-YP), U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) supply contract on a sole source basis with Antennas for Communications Inc., 350 Cypress RD, Ocala, FL 34472-3102. The requirement is for (1) ea. Dist Tilt Assembly Complete, (1) ea. Directional Roller Chain, (1) ea. Dist Tilt Cross Shaft with Couplers, Gears, and Hardware, (1) ea. Base Main Carrier Bearing and Assembly, (3) ea. Pillow Block Bearing, Shaft, and Gear Assembly, (1) ea. Machined Bearing Surface Ring, (4) ea. Roller Bearings and Mounts. These items are repair parts for a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, (NOAA), 7m (oversize) dish mounting antenna turret. The repair parts from Antennas for Communications, Inc. must be acquired on a sole source basis in order to maintain compatibility with existing equipment. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with in the discretion of the Government.
