The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, CA intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Sayr Resources, Inc., 10923 Indian Trail, Suite 101, Dallas, TX 75229-7409 on a sole source basis. The purpose of this action is to procure five (5) Octal Circuit cards that are proprietary to Sayr Resources and twenty (20) SRAM. The Octal Circuit card and SRAM is used in the CV-4331/WRR Digital Data Converter chassis and the CP-2388/WRR-12 Signal Data Converter chassis of the Submarine Low Frequency/Very Low Frequency VMEbus Receiver (SLMVR). The use of any other source for this acquisition would result in the duplication of cost and time for design, prototype development, and certification of the circuit card resulting in substantial added cost that is not expected to be recovered through competition. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICS code is 334418 and the Size Standard is 500.
