DESC This is a market survey to locate additional supply sources for two items produced by John Deere, CAGE 75160. The items are NSN 2815-01-350-2208, Engine, Diesel, 4 Cylinder, Liquid Cooled, Turbo Charged, Govt Dwg # 88-21012, JD P/N T04039TF002 and NSN 2815-01-350-2209, Engine, Diesel, 6 Cylinder, Liquid Cooled, Turbo Charged, Govt Dwg # 88-21013, JD P/N T06059TF002. The engines are used in the 30 kW MEP-805A/815A 50/60 and 400 Hz TQGs and the 60 kW MEP-806A/816A 50/60 and 400 Hz TQGs. This acquisition is for a 5 year IDIQ Flexible Long-Term Contract with quantities ranging from 10 to 180 for the 2208 engine and quantities of 10 to 145 for the 2209 engine for each year. The government shall not provide cores. Limited technical data is available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these remanufactured engines must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years parts will be available, estimated unit pricing for each year, ranges for price breaks if applicable, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also state if it is a small business and include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source, or a statement from a listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with these items from the supplier listed above. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
