This requirement is for a Firm Fixed-Price sole source contract to Annapolis Micro Systems, Inc. for the acquisition of specific configuration items in support of the enhancement for Cluster Snoop and related shipboard systems. The equipment to be procured are: 1) Annapolis Micro Systems, Inc. P/N WS1/XCVE2000-8V, Wild star 6U Virtual Machine Environment (VME) with Virtex 2000-8 and; 2) Annapolis Micro Systems P/N WS1/IOADC1G/VT3000/VE2000E-8/16-15D, 1.5 GHz A/D Daughter Card with 3000 V2 and 2000-8 Virtex E, 16MH RAM, for Item 1 above. Items 1 and 2 above are used together in a symbiotic relationship to form the components required for the Cluster Snoop System. Only the specific make and model equipment identified herein will satisfy the Government’s minimum need. Full and open competition is not feasible as the items being procured are in direct support of a systems build that must replicate the fit and function of existing systems. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the specifically configured items based upon the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c) and the test program for commercial items (Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
