The Navy intends to procure the following ADC Telecommunications, Inc. brand name mandatory items: twenty-two (22) Digital Patch Panels (A/B Switch P/P) Loaded Chassis, part number (P/N) PSA-04D; twenty-two (22) Inline Patching with A/B Switching (17th slot), P/N PSM-08; one hundred ten (110) E1A422 Patch Panel Cable 3ft, P/N PMPC-B-3; eleven (11) Audio PatchBag 1 rack unit 1.75, P/N PPB1-14MKIIENS; one hundred ten (110) Bantam Patch Cord black 3ft, P/N BK3B; and sixty-six (66) Bantam Patch Cord 4ft, P/N PJ768. Only the above described brand name items will fulfill the Governments needs due to the need to maintain the configuration management, interoperability and interchangeability within fielded systems. Procuring other than the specified equipment would adversely impact the life cycle sustainment of the program due to integration issues that could occur from utilizing a system that may not be compatible with the program requirements. 18.
