NA The U.S. Army CECOM proposes to procure one base year and six option years on a Time and Materials basis for the AN/FSC-78, AN/GSC-39, AN/TSC-86 and AN/GSC-52 satellite terminals on a sole source basis from Harris Corporation, Government Communication Syst ems Division, Palm Bay Road, P.O. Box 91000, Melbourne, FL 32902. Depot support services for the AN/FSC-78, AN/GSC-39, and AN/TSC-86 satellite terminals were previously obtained under Contract Number DAAB07-92-C-A507 with Harris, however, this contract exp ired in FY02. The AN/GSC-52 satellite terminal is being produced by Harris under Contract Number DAAB07-98-C-A515. The proposed action for depot services will be a modification to this contract. Harris is the developer and Original Equipment Manufacture r of each referenced satellite system and it is the only source that has produced these items or provided these support services. The Government does not possess detailed technical data for these items. Most of the data associated with these terminals is proprietary to Harris. Numbered Note 22 applies to this acquisition.
