Special Notice (Convert Caterpillar generator to US power/specs) This requirement is being posted pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the following requirement. The Government has a requirement to Convert a Caterpillar generator to US power standards/specs. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: convert from 50hz to 60hz, replace heater contactor, fuse holder, 6 fuses, charger, heater harness, terminal, water jacket heater, plug, connector, elbow, bushings, valve, bolts, breaker (1600 amp), breaker kit, washers, air filter, reprogram engine ECM ECMP2, and rerate engine speed. The NAICS code is 335312 with a size standard of 1000 employees. This requirement is a 100 percent set aside for small business concerns.
