Checkpoint Systems The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Checkpoint Systems, Inc., Thorofare, NJ. The purchase order is for the purpose of procuring Pre-programmed RFID, linking station printer ribbon and RFID custom labels for the Checkpoint RFID system used in the library. The library currently use equipment containing the proprietary components manuafactured by Checkpoint. Checkpoint is the only vendor which can provide the required equipment containing the compatible encrypted algorithm. The authority for this sole source is FAR 6-302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Classification System Code is 339999. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, firms that believe they can provide all items listed for procurement need to submit a written notification of interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within 15 days from the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
